Summary

Extracts knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, which may include the use of advanced statistical analysis, algorithms, predictive modeling, experimentation and pattern recognition to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance. Act as an internal consultant for various groups at SRP, creating reusable data science work products in SRP’s data science platform.

What You'll Do

Experience

• Building predictive, prescriptive, and/or optimization data models which leverage advanced algorithms, mathematical techniques, and statistics.
• Using Data Science tools and techniques, including tools such as SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, GPT, etc. and statistical methods including data transformations, ANOVA, regression, clustering, classification algorithms and optimization. 
• Researching / piloting innovative ideas, testing/evaluating new technologies.
• Analyzing data sources, gathering and transforming data into formats that are useful for analytics. 
• Promoting models into production environments and monitoring their operation.
• Communicating results via presentations, documentation, roadshows, and visualizations.

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Testing and Certifications

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
