The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. This role is responsible for managing a team of service technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Manage and lead a team of HVAC service technicians.
* Monitor and manage service calls, work orders, and technician schedules.
* Ensure all service activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
* Develop and manage the service department budget.
* Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
* Implement cost-control measures and strategies to achieve financial targets.
* Monitor job progress, provide technical support, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
* Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
* Address and rectify any quality or performance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of five years of experience in residential and light commercial HVAC service, with at least two years in a managerial role.
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
* Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
* HVAC certification is preferred.
* Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Proficient in using service management software and tools.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record pursuant to company policy
