Job Description: Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Position: Live-in or Live-out
Compensation: $30/hr 

Overview:
A family in Basking Ridge, NJ, is seeking a caring and organized Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with their two young children (ages 2 and 1) and help maintain our newly moved-into home. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing both childcare and household tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare:

  • Assist with the morning routine, including dressing, feeding, and preparing the children for school.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children at all times.
  • Occasionally assist with childcare during the day if needed.

• Housekeeping:

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the home, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Assist with laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
  • Help with organizing and setting up the house, as we have recently moved in.
  • Manage the kitchen, including cleaning and occasionally preparing simple meals or snacks.
  • Run errands as needed (e.g., grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning).

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a nanny or housekeeper is required.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Compensation:
$30 per hour, with potential for a higher rate depending on experience. Opportunities for additional hours or responsibilities if desired.
