Position: Live-In Nanny
Location: Merrick, New York
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday (return Sunday evening)
Compensation: $1200/week

Join a warm and loving family in Merrick, New York, as they navigate a challenging time. The mom is undergoing cancer treatment and will have surgery next week, rendering her unable to lift anything for the next six weeks. The family is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and long-term live-in nanny to provide support during this period and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Morning Routine: Wake up the children (ages 3 and 5), help them get dressed, prepare breakfast, and ensure they are on the bus by 8:45 AM.
• Daytime Duties: While the children are in school or camp, perform light housework, including family laundry, tidying up the home, and keeping the playroom organized.
• Evening Assistance: Assist with dinner preparation and other evening routines as needed.
• Weekend Off: Enjoy your weekends at home, returning to the family on Sunday evening at your convenience.

Requirements:

• Compassion: A nurturing and understanding individual who can provide emotional support and stability for the children and the family during this difficult time.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual, ensuring the children have a consistent and comforting routine.
• Experience: Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
• Household Skills: Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a tidy environment.
