Position Overview:

• The Production Field Assistant is a self motivated individual with excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, who is dedicated and focused on personal performance as well as the success of the production department.
• Responsibilities will include communicating with the team and customers with regard to material delivery, installation and production of projects, job process, issues that may arise, ensuring punch list items are addressed, and that site is clean of debris at job completion.
• Ultimately, a successful Production Field Assistant who possesses a strong understanding of time management, job performance, and communication that is consistent with the company’s CORE values.

Duties/Responsibilities: . 

• Effectively communicate with crews and customers to coordinate material deliveries, installation, job processes, and address project issues/concerns.
• Collaborate with Production Field Managers on projects. 
• Assist crews with delivery of additional materials, returning unused materials to suppliers at job completion. 
• Oversee project for clear directions and proper install. 
• Visit job sites and update progress notes in our computer system.
• Engage and coordinate with homeowners when additional work is necessary, and obtain proper paperwork. 
• Adherence to fleet vehicle program and maintaining vehicles are licensed, clean and serviced regularly. 
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all distributors, customers, crews, and coworkers. 
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facility(ies), warehouse, and parking lots when needed. 
• Communicate with installers, and answer any questions with the homeowner. 
• Attend weekly production meetings to schedule jobs.
• Familiarize and become efficient with install processes. 
• Assist production team with other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior construction, windows and siding projects or installation experience is a plus, but not required. 
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb up and down ladders. 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to drive company truck
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to listen, see and speak within normal ranges. 
• Ability to pick up and carry materials & return to vendor for refunds.
