Job Description

Boston Speech is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in providing therapy to individuals, leaving a lasting impact on the way they learn and develop. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, while gaining hands-on experience with an empowering team. This is a full time contract position from now until the end of the school year, with a rate of $47 per hour. This position is school based in Dedham, MA. You will be assisting elementary and middle school level children.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patients
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Assist in educating patients and their families on communication strategies

Requirements

• State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
