We are currently seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Duties :

• Responsible for the end-to-end user experience and interface design for new features in our customer-facing commercial card products, working closely with product, business analysts, engineers, designers, and stakeholders across the company
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
• Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Provide UX direction for development, testing, and refinement of prototypes
• Develop user flows, information architecture, and interaction design for web and mobile applications.
• Design visually appealing user interfaces that prioritize user experience and accessibility.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and make improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure design feasibility and implement design solutions.
• Work closely with the product team to maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
• Develop captivating and intuitive designs that prioritize user needs and satisfaction.
• Create designs that are not only visually stunning but also minimize technical debt and complexities, leading to enhanced efficiency.
• Apply your in-depth understanding of 508 compliance to design accessible solutions that cater to a diverse user base.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user requirements and translate them into interactive wireframes, user flows, and style guides.
• Present well-crafted design prototypes to client stakeholders, incorporating insights from user interviews to drive discovery.
  
   

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or  equivalent combination of education and work experience  
• Minimum 3 years of UX design and visual UI design experience.
• Must be US Citizen with ability to pass DHS CBP Background Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience in the full range of product design, interaction design and visual design
• Familiarity with a variety of user research methodologies and how to use them effectively
• Excellent communication and the ability to influence multiple levels of the organization
• Ability to design for any platform (iOS, Android, mobile web, desktop etc.)
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, etc)
• Ability to work well on an highly collaborative and cross-functional team
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in building mobile apps and websites
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Proven experience in conducting user interviews to uncover insights and using them to inform design decisions.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather and synthesize requirements.
• An online portfolio showcasing your work and highlighting your ability to solve design challenges and create visually compelling solutions.
• A cross-platform mindset, capable of translating ideas seamlessly across mobile, web-based, and desktop environments.
