Responsibilities
**Client Consultation**
Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients preferences budgets and expectations.
Provide expert advice on cruise destinations itineraries and cruise lines.
**Booking and Reservations**
Research and book cruise packages tailored to client preferences and budgets.
Handle all aspects of cruise reservations including accommodation dining and onboard activities.
**Product Knowledge**
Stay updated on the latest cruise industry trends new ships and travel regulations.
Build and maintain extensive knowledge of various cruise lines ships and itineraries.
**Customer Service**
Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and concerns.
Assist clients with pre and postcruise arrangements including transportation and excursions.
**Documentation and Logistics**
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation for cruise travel.
Coordinate logistics such as transportation to and from the cruise port travel insurance and necessary visas.
**Sales**
Actively promote and upsell additional services such as shore excursions specialty dining and onboard packages.
**Collaboration**
Work closely with cruise line representatives and suppliers to ensure seamless client experiences.
**PostTrip FollowUp**
Conduct posttrip followups to gather feedback and address any concerns.
Maintain longterm relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
### Requirements
Proven experience as a Cruise Specialist or in a similar role within the travel industry.
Extensive knowledge of various cruise lines ships and popular cruise destinations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Passion for travel and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
### Education and Qualifications
Certifications in travel and tourism (e.g. Certified Travel Associate) are provided and encouraged.
